Junior Titan Lacrosse

This Saturday I got the opportunity to head coach a 6th-8th grade lacrosse game. It was truly a great experience. Its great to be able to see the sport from another side and give what this sport has ment to me back. The level that these 8th graders are at is totally different from when i was their age. I was expecting a eye sore, but these kids may have dropped 2-3 passes. which is great by anyone's standards. It a ton of fun to scream out calls and watch them perform them. Far above what i expected. Sadly i moved back at a bad time, I have 2 more practices and 2 more games left with this group. It makes me feel great because the kids appear to like to listen to me more because i'm much younger than the other 1-2 coaches so i get to really run the show ;)

North GA Drive

I finally got a chance to meet he ATL Z group. we took a 200 mile ride up to North GA. Its great to see a line of the same car rolling down the street. We had some heads turn. It was a great trip, but in the end still had some big rubbing issues :(

Suspension Installation

Never had the pictures to make a post until now, but this is when my dad, matt and I installed our Koni H&R set up on the Z. Since then we returned to stock springs but it was a smooth installation. Today we redo the Rear Strut mounts.

First Night Shots

Tonight I took my first night shots. The car was absolutely filthy thus the pictures turned out crappier than they should have. But there is still more i need to work on because they aren't as crisp as i would like...

Victory....

Refreshing morning fixing the Z. I made a mistake of releasing a spring loaded screw inside the parking brake drum which ceased the wheel from spinning and caused me to disassemble the caliper and rotor assembly. If it was my car i would have fainted since i feel i do everything wrong, But since its the 'project car' i kept my calm and learned a lot, Thanks Kelly 2kredZ3 and the rest of Bimmerfourms. Building confidence is key and solving mistakes makes it all better. Sadly i can't think of much else that needs to be done on the little guy.

Looks easier in a picture

D40 lovin

Tonight was the first night i got to try out my Nikon SLR in low light situations. Learned quite a bit but have a long way to go.
Belle!
Julies sleep in front of the TV, was very dark
This picture is terrible, BUT it was literally pitch black beside one hall light in the top left corner so i was excited I had something come out.
Couldn't get it to be more crisp. Help....

N64 All the new craze these days

With the sunsetting much to soon, i noticed that me and my co-workers were in need of some good ole compitition. I cleaned off my N64 and purchased a few games that i neglected to own a few years back. Playing Mario Kart now is like its a new release. Everyday my roommate and me have come home flipped our shoes off, grabbed the peanut butter, crakers and some goldfish and attack some mario kart. It's the best 30min you could have after a day of work.

Ouch, The fear of tracking a car

Insurance doesn't cover track events, that's why my friend who tracks alot has always said you need to track a car that you could wreck and not lose more than a night of rest over...

Coble Ski Shool

In attempt to have the best year ever I am going to a apply for a job at coble ski school. Pictured below is the facility. It is right outside of Raleigh, NC. I would be teaching kids all ages how to ski and wakeboard. As a bonus instructures get an abundance of ski time themselves. So sounds like the best summer job ever, only catch is virtually no pay.... But FREE SKIING now thats worth it! I'll just get a job when i'm back at Clemson.

Last night me and my friends from work to our cars up to Ceaser's Head for a little mountain run. Josh (http://www.joshjonesphoto.com/) took some great shots before we arrived. Unfortunatly the drive exposed some issues with our new suspension on the Z..... Great night for a convertable though.

Can't Figure out if this is wrong or not. I have BimmerForums debating that right now.
Couple of turns in, Fendor plastic rubbed out on just the right side.....

Powder Hound

One disapointment this year is that i will not be able to go on my yearly ski trip with either my dad or Ryan. Last year Ryan and me traveled to Spike's house in Crested Butte and had a great week of skiing the same mountain the winter X games were once held. Heck, maybe i'll make it to the alps in Europe..?

Europe is Offical

Everything is in today, even booked the plane ticket. I will be traveling to Madrid Spain on January 7th where I will live in Barcelona for 4 months. I won't be returning to the states until May 13th from Munich. Its excellent news but i feel like it still wont hit me till i get to the airport!

NASCAR!

Its that simple. This weekend was the Nascar race in Charlotte. It was seriously one of the best times ever. Its a massive tailgate with sponsors giving out free food and drink. There is a plethora of different things and people to see. This won't be my last event!

Petit Lemans @ Road Atlanta, With Spin out

Joey, Andy and I were really hoping to see some sort of crash or slip up during the race. Its all about being in the right spot. At our first stop, turn one, I grabbed this clip very early in the race. It was the only spin out we were able to see in person so i was lucky to have the camera rolling. The crash is 20 seconds in.

McCain. Please!

I spent a great deal of time this week getting educated and up to speed with the presidential election. I have to say based on general info i was on the fence. But after really investigating I have become a tremendous McCain supporter. His plans as president are secure and thought out. While Obama presents an interesting way of thinking and new ideas, McCains policy's have been formulated over his long career and is what our country needs in a time of econimic instability. Please make the right choice.

New Wheels, Bling Bling

The Stock 16in rims were hurting pretty bad on the Z. There were dents and scuffs all over the place. Thanks to Craigslist we came across another sweet deal These are AC Schnitzer Type 2 Replica rims. Genuine run about 3,400! We landed the wheels and 8 tires for 3g less :) We also got our hands on a fresher pair of Z headlamps with no rock dinks or headlight burn that really cleaned up the front. Step by step this car is returning to like new.
