Day 5: Sienna

Tuesday: Sienna
We jumped a bus to Sienna Tuesday morning and just over an hour we were in a great Tuscan town. Like everyday the sky was clearing as we arrived to blast rays of sun over the colorful plastered buildings. Sienna has a great duomo, cobble stone streets without cars and most of all a main piazza in the center that is slanted like a theater and is a main attractive area to meet and relax. We climbed the clock tower first to attain a great view of the city and have a ridiculous 300-picture photo shoot. The main entertainment was Andy’s new mirror reflective glasses. Then we spent the day wondering the city in the warm sun in search of our friends Katherine and Megan who we had met on our adventures in Cinque Terre. Just as our day was wrapping up Andy here’s his name screamed from down the street. They had just gotten out of class and found us. It was great. We spent the next few hours in the piazza sharing more stories over gelato till the sun set and we headed back to Florence for our last night.
