Feb 4th

Today was a beautiful day here in Barca. It was a perfect 60 degrees so i decided to take the metro a few miles out of the city to the University, UAB campus. It was great to take the metro out of the city. The train finally climbed out from under the ground and into the light. In the 40 min ride i was able to see the suburbs, an abundance of trees and a view of the mountains. It really was just what i needed. As i strolled the campus it felt just like Clemson. Had grassy walk ways, tons of trees, friendly people. It is completely independent from any city or town which was its key resemblance to Clemson. It was a great time. But next I am off to Paris. I have been back in Barca for 3 days and i am already off again. Can't wait to see Paris but just too bad it's going to be cold and raining. Look for pictures on Sunday!
